The typical mistake is buying the granulator and discovering later that the bottleneck is drying or grinding. This tool starts from the tonnes you want to sell, the raw material and the process, and returns the capacity of each stage at 85% utilization plus the fines recirculation every granulator needs.
Pan granulation for compost and cured manure, with water spray and drying afterwards. Pressure compaction for organo-minerals and NPK blends, with less moisture and no dryer if the raw material comes in dry. Physical mixing (bulk blending) for NPK salts, without granulating. Fresh manure always needs composting or pre-drying first.

Pan for wet organics (compost, cured manure): round granule, needs drying. Pressure for organo-minerals and NPK: harder granule, less moisture and you save the dryer if the mix comes in at 16%.
Because it recirculates fines: 25% in pan and 15% in pressure go back in. Without that margin the line never reaches the tonnes.
Not directly: at 60% moisture it neither grinds nor granulates. It must be composted 30-45 days or pre-dried to 35%, and the tool adds that stage.
