300 mm Die and Compression System
The 300 mm diameter die defines the productive profile of the MKFD300P, placing it above the smaller models in the range but below the top 400 mm model. Manufactured from high-alloy stainless steel with surface-hardening heat treatment, the die features interchangeable extrusion holes in 4, 6, 8, and 10 mm diameters to match pellet size to final product requirements. The three-roller system distributes compression load evenly across the entire die surface, ensuring homogeneous density in all produced pellets and maximizing yield per unit of tractor power.
PTO Drive and Compatible Tractor Range
The MKFD300P connects to the tractor's rear PTO via a standard driveshaft, operating at 540 RPM. Its design is optimized for 60–120 HP tractors, making it compatible with the vast majority of common agricultural tractors used on medium-sized farms. This tractor power range also extends compatibility to older or lower-displacement models, significantly widening the pool of eligible tractors. Overly dry materials generate excessive friction and premature die wear, while materials that are too wet produce soft pellets that crumble after cooling. Ideal particle size is below 5 mm; coarser materials must be pre-processed in a hammer mill or shredder. For operations that do not need the maximum capacity of the 400 mm model but require more output than the 200 or 250 mm models, the MKFD300P represents the optimal balance between investment, tractor requirements, and productive performance.
