Installation and Start-Up
Installing the MKFD230P is very straightforward and can be done without technical assistance. The operator must position the equipment on a stable, level surface, couple the PTO shaft to the tractor while ensuring the transmission angle does not exceed 15 degrees, adjust the transmission tensioners as indicated in the manual, and start the tractor at low speed to verify no-load operation. Before the first run with material, it is recommended to lubricate all grease points indicated in the manual and perform a five-minute no-load test to verify there are no abnormal vibrations or unusual sounds in the bearings.
Simple Maintenance
Maintenance of the MKFD230P is minimal. Bearings must be lubricated every 8 hours of operation with the grease specified in the manual. The pelleting chamber must be cleaned at the end of each work session to prevent the accumulation of compacted residues that could make starting the next shift difficult. The condition of the die and rollers must be checked every 50 hours of operation to detect premature wear. Die service life is approximately 600 to 800 hours with proper maintenance, and replacement can be performed easily without specialized tools in less than 30 minutes.
